Submissions
Please read this information before submitting an excerpt.
Note: Form follows below.
***MINIMUM – 1,500 words!! No exceptions! This is clearly listed on the submission form (continue reading). If you submit an excerpt with less than 1,500 words, we will delete it. Due to the high number of submissions we receive, we may not have time to email every person who submits a shorter excerpt to ask for another one. Please – look at your word count before uploading. Emailing excerpts back and forth wastes time, not only for the administrators of this website, but for you.
Link only to the Digital Copy of your book, not to the search results for your name, not for the search results to to the book. If you submit a book that is merely print, we reserve the right to delete the book immediately.
Note: As of 2/27/2012 – If you would like to be considered for both Indie Books List, and Only Romance…you must submit using each site’s submission form. There are now two separate submission forms, when there used to be just one.
If you submitted before 2/27, we will process your Romance book normally.
Why 1,500 words? Because we firmly believe that the best way to promote your book is to put it in front of the reader. The longer the excerpt, the greater the likelihood of readers becoming attached to it and then buying your book.
We post two new excerpts daily at 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM, EST (Due to the volume of submissions, we have moved to posting at 4am, 7am, and again at 7pm.) We currently run a backlog of 3-4 weeks. Due to the amount of submissions we receive at our various blogs, we may not have time to email you to inform you when your excerpt will post.
