Simplified terms of use:

1.) You own the copyrights to your work, and we do not claim to own any portion of what you have written.

2.) By submitting your work, you give us permission to post the excerpt submitted, and repost that excerpt on our social media profiles.

3.) By submitting your work, you agree that we do not have to compensate you for the use of your excerpt or book cover on our site.

4.)  Just because you submit an excerpt does not mean Indie Books List is obligated to post your excerpt. We may deny it for quality or content reasons.  If we do not post your work, we are not obligated to notify you of the reasons why your book has not posted. In the few instances where this takes place, we usually try to…but we are not OBLIGATED to.

5.) We may, at any time, take a post down, terminate the services of this blog, or decide to turn it into an online store selling yard mulch(change of purpose).

We do this as a service to you, for free. We will do this as long as we want to/are able to/and care to….many times, we have continued on beyond that point.

6.) The terms of use may change at any time, without warning…operating under the principles of constructive notice.
